Going the "DISTANCE" to take down Win #2

Bergeron. The driver was Nate Bly and the picture was taken in the late
60's What a Great End to a Good Season The opinions expressed on this site are not
necessarily those of the driver of the 27. [I call them like I see them
from the tower.] Team 27 finished off the season with a victory on
Championship Night at the Canaan Fair Speedway. The 27 started
second to last in the heat race and after ten laps settled for the
runner-up spot. Team 27 didn't come to the track to finish second on
this night, only a win would do. We started 9th in the feature and
after missing a few skirmishes up front, Chris piloted the 27 to the front
to take the checkers for our second win of the season. Even though
Aaron came home as the 2011 Late Model Track Champion, he didn't even do a
smoke show. So the fans wouldn't go home disappointed, Chris did one
for the both of them. In Victory lane Chris dedicated the race to
the crew and the guys who work on the car all summer so that he can go out
and have fun. What a way to end our season. Stay tuned this
winter for updates on the car and on our plans for the 2012 season. Just wanted to say thanks to Paula for letting us
hang out in the garage all summer long, to Phil and his assistant Tom for
keeping the lettering on the car looking great all summer, to Larry for
being Chris' right [and left] hand man in the garage every night, to Gary
and Tony for doing the tires at the track, Gary also spends lots of time
in the seat while Chris sets up the car. Tim for taking over the tire
inventory and editor in chief, Cory you did an awesome job spotting this
summer, Phillie thanks again for filling in wherever and whenever needed,
for keeping the web site up to date and for the great videos. They
are a great learning tool and a blast to watch. Thanks to Jill for
all of the great photos. To Mom and Dad for all of your support.
Raymond for all you do at the track, [Raymond is also looking for a ride
in a Lightning Stock if anyone has an open seat for 2012]. Our wives also
deserve a big Thank-you for letting us all do what we love to do all
